A week of reflection and renewal (Jim McCann 1-800 Founder/Chairman)

Written by Gladrich Florist Shoppe

This post comes to us from the Founder and Chairman of 1-800 Flowers

We’re entering a week that invites reflection. For many, it begins with Palm Sunday and moves through Good Friday to Easter. For others, Passover offers a time of remembrance, tradition, and gathering. Both traditions center on renewal and hope.

For Christians, Easter marks the resurrection of Jesus and the promise of new life, often celebrated with seasonal symbols and a shared meal. Passover recalls the Israelites’ liberation from slavery and a renewal of faith.

This week offers a chance to slow down and reflect on the people and moments that shape our lives. The traditions of the season — whether attending services, sharing meals, or enjoying family activities — stand out not just for the values they instill but for the time together they create.

What are the rituals that define this week for you?
